Searching for critiques in order to learn more.
I've practicing with digital since I've got a computer(about 5 or 4 years ago), but kinda succeded just this year)))
I have the Genius WizardPen 5x4 tablet, it's very dull and cheap, the others were too expensive for me..
And about tutorials - I've read some, but can't say that they were like a flash of inspiration (besides, much of them are in Russian^^"). I think the point is the right painting program; for example, the things progress much better, when I've started to use PaintTool SAI)))

Seems like everyone doing digital art have a tablet. I really can't afford it, especially when I don't know if I would like to use it. And I don't know if it's possible to colour pictures (so that they'd look nice) just with a mouse.
Maybe I'll just try it with some very very simple lineart etc. And learn better how to use my Gimp (which is a very good program, I have found everything that I have needed).
But good for you that you did a breakthrough with digital art ^^ . It's always exciting to discover new things.
